Card Crop this weekend!!! And our October Charity!
Just a little reminder of what is going on this weekend...


October 3rd is World Card Making Day and THE MOSY SCRAPPER wants YOU to come join the fun and scrap the day away at our first ever 'Card Crop'.

The TMS designers have been working behind the scenes to come up with some creative challenges for all to be inspired. All challenges will be given a point value and the scrapper with the most points....WINS!!! A BIG LOOT will be given away to the top cropper. MANY cards will be made that day, so get all your gear ready, register at TMS and have fun!

For the month of October our card charity is going to be The Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis, Missouri.
We will be making BLANK cards for the children and families to use as thank you's, correspondence, whatever... the representative said that ANYTHING that they can provide the families at no cost to them is so helpful. So, Lori (our DT member) is asking for handmade cards with nothing written or printed on the inside and an envelope to go with each. you have until october 30th to mail these to her (please send Lori a private message on the message board for her address). On Monday, November 2nd, she will mail these to the Ronald McDonald House for their use.

Chicken and Dumplings is what's for dinner this weekend... Just not feeling well.. That yellow stuff outside is killing me.. I think that is what it is.. allergies.. yuck! I've noticed the kids have runny noses too..

Some things I have been working on.. This is for the Scrapbook Studio kits I got Friday and started off with some.. Cecile showed this one on the blog so i know it's okay to show..
I got the idea from the fall scrapbook & cards today magazine.. The other layout and card was from round 1 and round 3 of The Mosy Scrapper

Got some great and exciting news.. I have been doing this contest at The Mosy Scrapper .. and i won the design team spot for the site.. I'm so excited.. I love the girls over there and all of them are so creative and fun to be around. So today i am going to show my favorite project.. because i have several photos of it..

I love old windows, and there was a lot of them around the barn so i have one with some windows.. i don't have much Halloween things around so i thought this would be fun for the kids.. They love it.. I also added some more things to it.






There will be more to come in the days ahead.. just thought i would put this on here first..

Some stuff i have been working on lately.. Trying to get all these photos done. Well you really never get done with the photos do you? Hope to get more this weekend when Shannon and Mo are here.. But it seems i always forget to take pictures..I hope we get a little scrapbooking in too.. I have to awesome stuff to show but i just can't yet.. so keep your eyes peeled..

Trying so hard to get some of these photos I have taken on layouts. I have been really wanting to scrapbook lately. Thank goodness.. i really needed it. Seems like so many things are going on right now.. Lillian is very sick.. And thank goodness the kids didn't get sick... Jameson is cheerleading tonight at the Wayne County Game, I really hope she cheers.. Cole has a cell phone now.. and AXE i don't know what is worse.. And he ran out and about had a fit cause he didn't have deodorant.. he doesn't even have body odor yet.. when does that happen anyway?

i opened the front of Ivy's bed and now she thinks she can get out and get in the bed with us.. so lots of midnight trips to put her back in the bed.. I am hoping Jameson and Ivy will start sleeping together.. but i doubt it..

David is going to start working nights.. I'm not looking forward to this again.. it is so hard to have a good relationship with someone that is opposite of you.. it is good birth control though.. (did i say that?)

So much going on this weekend.. Jameson is doing a cheerleading camp, gotta get ready for Wendy's shower and Lillian's birthday.. Lots going on..

I did a layout for Scrapperie been wanting to use all these photos Mo (Melissa) has sent me.. Seems like Grace has grown a lot in the last year.. and she has angel kisses on her nose now.. just too cute. more of her to come.. and of Finley.. I have some precious ones of her..



Sunday is Wendy's shower, so I am getting food prepared and the diaper cake it's finishing touches.. photos to come..

Ivy got her shots this week, 5 of them.. she has been really cranky.. and i think Jameson is coming down with something. doesn't surprise me since the beginning of school brings viruses around to everyone..

I also lost a pound this week.. staying on track isn't going to be easy this weekend... too many sweets around.

I was the Guest Designer this week at Scrapping out Loud. the challenge was to document a dream.. mine is losing weight.. so far 8 pounds. this is one of my favorite photos of myself and i had been wanting to use it for a while so this was a great way to document my life right now..

Thanks to Scrapping Out Loud for the challenge.. i really enjoyed it..

We are back from visiting Shannon and Mo in Tega Cay. Had a great time.. even at the urgent care.. i love going there.. it is just so beautiful where Shannon and Mo live. We got home to get ready for school to start and things are getting back to a regular pace around here. Trying to find my regular routine with Ivy again. David goes back to work Sunday. Looking forward to finding some inspiration and getting some scrapbook pages done.. i just want to scrapbook for me for a while.

Creative Chaos was really happy that Jenn asked me.. I love her Etsy store.. And if that isn't enough she is a pretty cool chick too.. And a So Sketchy Sista.. Here are some projects i used on the things she sent me to use.. Love them all... Thanks Jenn..

I have also been working on some Guest Design Team spots i was asked to do this month. Those will be posted when they debut.

This is Cole's obsession right now, cutting the grass.. He loves it..

Since my brother's family has left our family has had this stomach virus. We are all finally completely better. I've done a few layouts but will wait until i can edit them.

I'm also on a diet and exercising.. Eating better.. i have lost about 7 pounds and feeling really great. I try to run/walk every day but things do get in the way.. i'm up to 2 miles.

Finally catching up. Cole and Jameson are at Shannon and Mo's this week so i have been cleaning like crazy.. I think it keeps me busy from missing them.. But then again I have to also keep Ivy busy, or she will be into things she isn't suppose to.. I got one layout done and more i want to post because if i don't i will forget.




Tomorrow the kids will be home.. and boy i can't wait.. Then next week my brother and sister in law will be visiting... i might need another vacation..

Tomorrow David starts vacation.. boy am i excited... He really needs it too..

Here is some stuff i have done.. These little Russian dolls are just so cute.. I just couldn't figure out what i was going to do with them.. but then i thought they looked like something for the girls.. and since Ivy has moved into Jameson's room i thought it would be a cute door hanger for there room.. it says GIRLS room going down.. Jameson loved it.



Here is another layout i did.. the flower is canvas and i added a little paint to it.


and this one i did for the got sketch 104 class i have been taking.. not really my favorite layout. just one of those layouts you deal with..


I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July. Please say a extra prayer for those that are serving our country. Especially for Cole's dad Josh. He is in Afghanistan serving for our country. So proud to be living in the USA..

Only 4 days left till David goes on vacation.. So excited.. Love spending time with David and the kids.. relaxing.. and i will have help too.. which means i might get some pages done while he is on vacation.

Since my design team for So Sketchy has ended i have looked around at some of the scrap challenges and found this really cool one called Mix it Up.. you can see what the challenge is and also the sketch.. love sketches.. and i used some supplies from the
Scrapbook Studio..

I just got home from Savannah a couple of hours ago.. Just towing around 3 kids wears me out.. Trying to get some things ready for vacation so i am not running around for things.. I also stocked up at Bath and Body works.. boy do they have a sale.. buy 3 get 3 free.. i love the smell of coconut and lime together.. so i got the travel size to take with me on vacation and some lotion.. feels so good after being in the sun all day..

I made this cute sign for the Scrapbook Studio shop.. i hope Cecile enjoys it.. it was so much fun to make.. and pretty simple..



I finally found some pearl glimmer mist.. and old lace glimmer mist.. I am in heaven right now.. not sure if i should go to bed or stay up and play with my glimmer mist.. let's see.. if i go to bed i will be watching some kind of strange sci fi show.. if i stay up i can listen to James Morrison all i want... hmm.. we will see..

It is so hot here.. my brain isn't working very well..
I told some friends on Facebook i would show my canvas album.. I made this for our vacation in July to Atlanta and to Tega Cay.. and hopefully in Aug we might go to the Gulf... i really want to go to the gulf for some reason..

I used some stuff from Polka Dot whimsy also.. and some maya mist to give it some color on the canvas.. These are some of the blank pages.. i think i will post it when all the photos are in..

Yesterday was Father's day and we took things pretty simple around here.. We went to the pool and just laid back most of the day. Took Grandma to church.. pretty normal stuff..

Speaking of church.. man o man did Father Lee talk about forgiveness and love yesterday. We have had some things stolen in the church and the police finally found the people who were robbing the church. He spoke about forgiving and loving these kids that did this to our church. Great message.. so glad i was there too..
