Happy 4th of July

Man i am wiped out today.. after yesterday all i want to do is stay cool and be lazy.. Dad brought a motorhome for us to hang out at the beach.. we stayed on the beach till about 5 then walked to the parking lot and hung out at the motorhome.. ate hamburgers and waited to watch the fireworks.. i love doing this it seems like the logical thing to do since you are already at the beach.. christy got the kids some kites so they played with those while we waited for it to get dark.. but it took us forever to get off the island and get home about and hour and thirty minutes.. but well worth the wait.. the kids were wore out so they slept.. very fun.. and thank goodness christy came cause we had so much fun.. too bad david wasnt able to come he had to work.. i hated that..

just found out i didn't win the gauntlet.. and the person that won is very talented and i myself loved her layouts.. i really didn't lose anything though.. i won alot more.. inspiration and more friends and a new website i really love.. so no tears for me.. i did get runner up and that means $15 gift card.. yeah..

just got home from church.. and man it feels good to have a priest now.. i felt the "welcome" in the air. been a while for me to feel good about going to church or being there.. i don't think it has to do with who was filling in, I just have been not fulfilled at all. i hate to admit that but it is true.. when father chris left it was devastating for me. i felt so attached to him and his family that i learned a great deal with him leaving... so yeah i feel good today about going to church and being there. i miss father chris and now i think that father lee is going to fit us as a congregation so well..

okay this weekend has been the ice cream social so i am going to post some layouts during the week.. i have done a good bit. and i also find out about the finals tomorrow (i hope) and the design team for Scrapperie.. i applied for the design team. having a blast at that website.. i feel right at home there.. so if you aren't seeing me around 2peas it is because i am at scrapperie. (sorry dw girls but i will be back to chat)..i don't know what it is about scrapperie but it is something there that i really love.. everyone is not afraid to chat and try to get to know you.. okay for the nonscrapbookers this is so boring..

been busy trying to decide on which layout i am going to post for the finals.. i had one started then started another one.. and now i am doing a 3rd.. so going to finish them tomorrow and post one.. this time i have a back up.. this is the first to do more than one but i am so nervous about which one to post.. posting 2 more layouts today..

i made it to the finals.. 7 of us left.. so that means i have a 1 in 7 chance.. i really don't care at this point who wins.. they are all amazing.. it is hard to decide when everyones is so different and the styles are so different too..

the layout of Richard and Ivy (Pappy give me a drink)... i just finished my layout for round 6.. and starting on all the sketches from my class i am taking..

Ivy got 3 shots today so she is going to be a little grumpy for a couple of days.. she doesn't take those shots to well.. and then in 8 weeks she has to take 3 more.. didn't know she was behind on her shots.. i am thinking a couple of months ago she had a fever and so now she is behind.. geez i hate it when she gets shots..

Jameson is at little light of mine today with her friends while cole and i get some alone time.. he is getting older and really needs some one on one time.. so he just made a door hanger that says no girls allowed.. will take a pic of it later.. i found some camo paper for him to use.. it turned out really cute..

Holy S**T.. i cannot believe it..only 2 more rounds.. i love my album but aren't we all a little biased when it is your own? sometimes i feel like my pages aren't up to magazines.. and i have never submitted my layouts.. so this is the first contest i really have ever entered and i think i might submit to magazines to see how things work and to get my pages out there.. i guess we will see..okay here is my mini GO GREEN.

Happy Fathers day to....
my hubby David, Richard, Walter, Shannon, James, Shane, and lastly My Dad who is honestly the best dad ever.. thanks dad for all the great memories and being not only my dad but also my best friend.. brings a smile to my face and warmth in my heart.. thank god i have you in my life.. also my valentine..

today was a great day spending it with David and Richard.. i love both of them so much.. just so glad i got to spend the day with them..

i have a special fathers day layout of Richard but i didn't get a chance to take a photo of it but it will be up this week sometime..

still waiting to find out if i made it to round 6.. i am not really that anxious to find out and usually i am a little anxious at refreshing every minute but not today.. i am very proud to be in this group of women they all did such fabulous jobs i don't feel the slightest about not making it to round 6...
will post later when i find out..

tomorrow is the big day.. if i make it or not.. i can't wait to post it here and at 2peas.. well i finally got some layouts done late last night.. will post those today.. i have been taking this class and i really love it and these layouts are from the sketches from Got sketches 101..

It seems like we have been at the pool all week.. i feel so fried.. and i wear sunscreen.. being in the sun for 4 hours will do that to you.. so taking a break from the sun today.. David is off tonight so we are having some shish kabobs and corn on the cob.. and i am going to make one of those mojitos that Kim had on her blog.. just minus the mint leaves.. i made them with the mint leaves and like the taste but not in my drink..

If you don't know by now i have a hard time with boy layouts.. i don't want to add flowers or anything girly on Cole's layouts.. so getting some stuff in the mail soon that is very boyish.. scrapbook companies make more things girly than boyish.. i don't want Cole to say one day i put pink in his layouts.. so i am very careful when i am doing his pages.. so that is why i don't do as many... and some have other peoples kids and i will not post them on any website.. if i do i scribble out the faces....

okay enough for today... going to make me a mojito now.

i finally got my mini album done.. just have to post it.. i won't post it here until the contest is over on sunday..

we went to the beach on sunday and had a great time.. met dad there and adam and christy came later with jameson and holly.. i took river and cole.. we were all so tired when we got home..

I MADE IT TO ROUND 5

I can't believe it.. i just can't.. so much talent.. i really didn't think i would make it to round 5.. so now i have to make a mini album.. and i have the albums but now i need to decide on what i am going to do.. it has to have a "SIMPLE" theme.. so i am bashing around on this theme.. i have some ideas but i will keep that to myself.. have to have at least 5 photos so thinking of what photos.. okay enough of this.. here is the layout that inspired me.. it was the art piece from Georgia O'Keeffe.. sunflowers..

most of you don't know but i love love love sunflowers.. still have that blanket Christy..

the other layout is of Cole.. i love this photo of him..

i probably won't be on here much for a couple of days.. trying to move all my time to the mini album want to do the best i can.. so i will keep everyone posted..

i am waiting on the result for the gauntlet this morning.. i really don't think i will make it but i did my best and that is all i can ask for.. there was alot of great layouts so i would not be upset at all.. okay moving on...

Ivy is keeping me up alot at night.. today i feel like a zombie.. i think i got maybe 5 hours last night.. tylenol and motrin is not helping her realive the pain from her teeth.. and all she wants me to do is hold her.. and that is hard for momma to do when she is completely exhausted.. so today i hope when david gets up i can rest a little before we go to grandmas for her birthday dinner..

sorry i haven't posted since saturday.. been under the weather with a sinus infection (i think).. just not feeling good at all the past few days.. so my memorial day was in the bed while the kids and David went swimming and grilling out at Richard and Lillians.. at least today my ears aren't popping..okay enough of that..feeling much better today

well i did get good news sunday i made it to round 4.. and boy and i stumped on this one.. you have to get inspiraton from a piece of art.. so working on something from georgia o'keeffe.. will post next week with that layout..
i will probably post some layouts i have done later this week.. today i am going to post some photos from this weekend.. pictures david took of the kids..

also if you are reading this and you don't have my new email please send me a response.. at boone_td5@bellsouth.net.. i am having a real hard time with my internet service.. so they would not let me keep my last email..and then it wiped out some of my addresses.. sorry about the problem.. i did get another email at tonyaboo5@gmail.com just in case this happens again..

if you want any of my photos you can email me and i can send them to you with out the wording.. i don't want someone copying my photos or layouts without permission.. heard alot of people that are having problems with this.. so if you have a blog you might want to copyright yours also..

ivy is teething.. and not sleeping.. she is not doing well with the teething thing.. giving her motrin and tylenol and those teething tablets.. nothing is helping her.. she won't even sleep in your her crib.. she is just so miserable.. she will only sleep in my lap or on my shoulder..

one of jameson with a flower she picked it out of the yard for me the day before mothers day.. sometimes i could just squeeze her and sometimes like right now after she broke something i could well i won't say it.. she just broke my angel family that Richard and Lillian gave me for christmas.. something i really cherish.. i hope i can mend it back together..

Had to put a some sort of copyright on my photos so they won't be distrubted.. one of my friends found something from her blog onto someone elses.. so gotta put my signature on everything now..

so sweet... i am doing all of these photos for ivys book.. i just can't stand the thought of them not being in her album..

last day of school for Cole.. so he is excited..

so everything is going to be chaotic for a while until i and the kids get into a schedule.. i did enroll them in the library program.. Jameson got her a library card this year and checked out books for the first time yesterday..

Jameson graduated from School of Discovery Tuesday night.. so many of our family made it to the ceremony.. thank you all that came.. Jameson did not want to wear the cap and gown but Cole convienced her if she would wear it Grandpa would take them out for ice cream.. It worked.. so here are some photos of her graduation ceremony.. and her teacher Ms Deanne..

So happy that my bf Christy passed her RN boards.. so YEAH!!!!! she didn't think she did very good. but i knew she did..

Last week was Lillians last radioation.. so happy that all of the driving and the no energy and the no taste.. i hope all of that comes back.. i can't wait when it does..

Ivy went to the dr today and she is 15 pounds and 12 ozs.. she is normal weight and height.. she is so chunky thought she would be over but she isn't.. she is starting to grab for everything now..

and she likes to sing too.. we went to church sunday and the piano was playing and she started singing.. pretty funny sight..

Yeah for David Cook.. so happy he won.. i tried so hard to call his numbers but could not get through.. didn't think he would win.. can't wait to see what his album will be like..

Tomorrow i will probably post some layouts.. been very creative these past few weeks.. i can't sleep sometimes because i have so many ideas running through my head.. and i made it to round 3 of the gauntlet so gotta get going on my next project..

maybe some layouts for this week.. i made it to the next round and so the lost layout is the one i submitted.. had to make a card this week.. i can't post it until next week... we will see.. and the shadow box is something i made a couple of weeks ago.. i made several of these shadow boxes just didn't take any photos of them all..

Jameson graduates from School of Discovery on tuesday night.. at 6:30.. it should be fun to see my little girl in a little cap and gown.. then school is over for the summer... Friday is Coles last day of school.. so looking forward to the summer..

Happy Mothers day

Happy MOthers day to all the moms.. my mom, Sandy, Lillian, Grandma , Mo, Jennifer, Wendy(not thier birth mom but a mom).. and to all my pea mom friends.. hope everyone has a great Mothers day..

David brought home some beautiful flowers... and a sweet card.. Jameson she went all out this year.. she planted me a flower and colored the pot.. love it.. gave me a picture of her from school and decorated the frame.. and this morning she didn't forget what today was.. she is so sweet.. Cole hasn't made it home yet he is at his dads this weekend.. he has been busy with school ending.. Thursday was annual day and Friday was field day.. parents weren't invited.. so don't have any photos.. but i do have some i took yesterday outside of the girls..

I entered a contest a couple of weeks ago.. i got to the first round and tomorrow i find out if i make it to the second round.. i haven't posted my layout but i will after i find out tomorrow.. wish me luck...
